Hatch- Bob covered it well. One or two addtional thoughts: Within a clip that you create (for example the John 3:16 clip) you can have multiple pages of text within that clip. That will allow you to split up the quote into two or three sections. What will happen is that the scene will show the text from page one, then fade to the text to page 2, etc. The other thing you may want to consider is making the box background a solid color or a pattern rather than a transparent box. Using a colored or patterned background gives a little depth to the text displayed. Hope that helps. _________________________________________________________________ : : Here is the scenario. I would like to add subtitles like they do on the Christian television channels. I want the subtitles to as the scriptures are being read. : First, split your video scene into each scripture section that you wish to display. For instance, to subtitle a screen with John 3:16, you'd split immediately prior to "For God so loved ..." and split immediately after "... everlasting life." It may help to rename each segment to the verse reference. : Second, put the video segments on the storyboard in the proper order. : Third, drop the title on each segment in the usual way. I'd think a short fade-on/fade-off would be most appropriate. : Other notes: : Your verse selections seem to be way to long for subtitles -- three to five verses is just way too much for a lower third, unless you're using very small print, which then becomes nearly unreadable (at least in the composition window). : Do NOT depend on the title previews to give an accurate picture. Only the final rendering will be accurate with the Casablanca titling system. : Don't torture yourself by trying to roll or scroll the titles. : I hope this helps.
