LCD monitor Can't Post
Hi guys,newbie here.had just bought a SONY DCR-HC1000 camcorder n ordered the Amphibico Invader housing.
Seeking advices from u experts if i should get a LCD monitor or just go ahead with the view finder?
If i will to get a the LCD monitor, which will be the better choice, the Amphibico or the Gates? I actually prefer the Gates as it uses 8 AA cells but can Gates LCD monitor be used on Amphibico housing?

I have an LCD monitor and never (not seldom - never) use it. The resolution in these
small monitors is too low to determine whether a subject is in focus or not. If you want
"broadcast quality" tack sharp footage, then don't even think about using an
LCD. Sure, using the viewfinder can be a pain, but it's the only way to be sure that
you're truly in focus.
