Jan, get them. I have been using the 9-volt polymers (8 of them, sets of wireless and mics) for over a year now, and they work as advertised. I used to use them with my Samson Micro32 wireless system (I now use Sennheiser which take AA's), and I could run my wireless all day long 8-10+ hours. Since I use wireless all day long, normal ceremony use as well as board or mic feeds to my camera for receotion work, with normal 9-volts I would always have to change out my batteries at least once during the day. They are expensive, but worth the price if you ask me, especially since they are rechargeable, so it saves you money in the long run. BTW, since I don't really use the Samson's anymore, I still use the batteries with my Rode mics, which of course run forever on these little babies.
