cheap transcription service?	Can't Post

Anyone know of a cheap transcription service? I have 14 hours of dv, mainly 1-1 interviews. What is a ballpark figure of how much this might cost?

Check your yellow pages under secretarial or transcriptions. I'll bet they will not accept a DV tape. They'll probably want an audio cassette so they can control it with a foot pedal. 14 hours will cost. You might also try places like freelance.com

I know somebody that does transcription on the side. I've sent you a PM.
FWIW, I think nowadays they are setup with special software so that they can work from an MP3 file. How convenient to be able to deal with all audio via e-mail, eh?
