We've noticed compression problems with red colors whether it's DVCPro HD, DV, or MPEG. Red is just in that range of difficult color to compress. The HVX seems slightly more susceptible, but you can always trim that down in the cam. JVC does very, very well with controlling this as does Sony. That's why we use the really bright reds against the contrasted whites and blacks when I'm showing the Z1 and Canon cams on our tours, because they've given us great tools to avoid trouble. As far as the labels, I wish they'd have put a scribblestrip either on the end or bottom of the P2 cards. Maybe future versions? With the recent Micron buyout, the cost of these cards should start dropping pretty fast.
