Converting PAL HDV to NTSC HDV

Hello,
Last friday I shot a wedding in NYC for a couple from the UK. I used my Z1u and captured it in PAL 1080 50i (PAL) now I edited in Pal in Vegas 7 and now I have to also output it also in NTSC 1080 60i for the Groom's father who lives in Maryland. Should I convert it in NTSC using a intermidiate Codec or convert it to NTSC MPEG 2.
Just looking for practical thoughts.
