Sony HDR-FX7 Can't Post

Hello to all,
I am looking for real world review on the FX7 for weddings? Will use as main cam at first, I think? We are using PD 170's-vx2000 and would mostly like to upgrade for the widescreen look.

Thanks, Scott

Hi Scott

Welcome to VU. I would suggest that you move your enquiry to the Members Forum. There is a lot more action and you will probably get a faster reply.

Cheers

Contact Rusty (faithPoison) as he is the only videographer I am aware of who used this camera, an I don't think he was happy at all with the camera. Just from looking at the specs I would say the 1/4" sensors would make this camera completely useless for low light situations.

I have an FX7. It is horrible in low light. With auto-focus on, it does a lot of "hunting" in any light situation.
