Matrox H.264 CompressHD Hardware for Encoding Blu-ray files Can't Post

For those who are thinking about purchasing the latest and greatest (not) Matrox hardware H.264 accelerator card for faster then real time H.264 file creation, beware their are compatibility issues with authoring Blu-ray disc's with Encore. Matrox is advising it's users to use Toast to author their Blu-ray projects. This just makes no sense, and in my opinion is power for the course when it comes Matrox's products (in my experience anyway).

I've been keeping a close watch on this card with the thoughts of possible purchasing it to encode H.264 Blu-ray files for authoring in Encore, but a quick look at the users forum shows Matrox's true colors once again.

Here is the link to the Card:

The new FCS will now encode a H.264 Blu-ray format file in Compressor in case there is actually anyone in the forum any more that would care to know that.
