Apple Firewire NTSC Can't Post

I have been editing with no problems untill I tried to open the project I am working on now. What has happened is that "Apple Firewire NTSC (720 X480 )" is no longer available although it was before. Does anyone know how to get this back so that I can use my external firewire devices?
Thanks

Re: [Mike S] Apple Firewire NTSC [In reply to] Can't Post

Do you mean it's not availiable under View-External montitor? In Final Cut? Is it greyed out? This can happen if you start FCP without having the firewire plugged in and the external device turned on. Have you tried restarting with those things on? In HD there's a refresh external devices option which usually kicks them back into action.

Or maybe you're talking about something else like capture? Which pretty much the same theory should work in L&C.
