Broken vx1000, i need help Can't Post

Hello there,
i'm a skateboard videography, and a few days ago my vx1000 has been hit by a board, and it broke down.
the hit wasn't bad at all, but suddenly the cam started having problems with fields. it first recorded some frame with odd fields black, and some with shifted odd field. later i tried it again and it recorded the odd fields shifted, sometimes one row up, sometime one row down. i decided to take it to a sony center, but i didn't had the time, so i tried again and found that now it records the odd fields allways shifted two rows up.
what problem could it have?
i suppose it was a head problem, so i tried to record directly on my pc connecting it with a firewire cable, but i found there the same problem (and the cam wasn't recording).
please if that happened to some of you let me know if it's fixable, cause i don't know if it's better selling it for parts or repairing it, and if i go to the sony center they will charge 100 euro (120$) just to check it
