EX1 to FCP6 Can't Post
I've been trying to figure out how to get footage from the Sony EX1 into FCP6. Here's what I've been doing that doesn't work.
The EX1 has been set to downconvert the video to SD. It was then set to crop the sides of the image to 4:3. I then use the XDCAMEX Clip Browser to import the file from the camera. The result is a string of folders within folders and some files with a QuickTime icon. None of those QT files are recognizeable by FCP.
The manual doesn't have much to say about converting files and I'd like to start using my camera soon.
