VX1000 head clogging Can't Post

Im sorry if this issue has been posted before..ive been searching around but i end up with no luck finding the question...my question is.. does anyone ever had a head clogging problem with VX1000? im worry if my vx1000 has a head clogging...If it does, how can i fix the problem? Also, as i dont know wat tape the person who sold me the camcorder used and as i start using TDK, i ended u have a head clogging problem... please advise how to fix the issue...

Very simple: get the cam a professional tape path cleaning then stick with Sony tape exclusively. Sony has been established as the brand with the fewest problems over many years.

does anyone know the head life expectancy or estimation for VX1000...I have searched around for the figure but seems like no exact number for this...Some mentioned it is about 2000hours....please advise...Thx

That is a reasonable estimate. I put 1500 hrs on several VX1000s without any issue.
