Azden WR-22/wireless/lapels Can't Post

Using the Azden WR22 with two lapel mikes from Azden as well. I have the receiver plugged into my VX1000's mini jack and of course both transmitter on opposite channels (Of the two available).
Upon shooting, I monitor the sound levels via headphones/direct to the camera's phone jack. Everything sounds fine. I have one person coming through on the left side and one on the right. Metering on camera and on playback shows both sides active. BUT, the actual sound "heard" is weak on the left and strong on the right side.
I did switch the two transmitters to their alternate channels, but again the same problem persist. So...do you think the problem is with the Azden receiver itself, or the dreadful mini input on the camera itself. Now, the cable connecting the reciever to the camera is a stereo mini jack/if that helps.
Any ideas out there? Thanks Nef

Try This... Can't Post

Hi,
I'd go for a basic bit of troubleshooting here. Take a stereo source, ideally a nice even stereo mix...maybe even a test tone (Adobe includes some tones with Premiere) recorded evenly in stereo on any kind of deck or computer, and feed that into your camera via adapters. This way you can absolutely eliminate or point out if the problem is in fact your camera.
Off the top, I'd suspect a wireless system before anything hardwired, but this little test will tell for sure.
