Sorry, I don't even know what format the CG650 is but your description sounds like you are over exposing your picture. Maybe you have your exposure set to MANUAL and have the exposure set too high? Maybe you have BACKLIGHTING selected? Try expierimenting with these settings. Set everything to AUTOMATIC if you don't understand how to use them in the manual mode. Just some wild guesses. Can you take it back to where you got it and ask them to instruct you on how to use it?
