btw - I decided to book some weddings this year, see what happens but with that ugly backlog off me I can refocus and doing weddings can be fun again

Seems you have all the fun. I enjoyed the clip with the salon lady chewing her gum like a blonde and bending over to give him a shave....I don't know but that would scare me. A lady agressively chewing her gum like there is no care in the world bending over my head with a sharp razor. That caught me as particularly funny.

Always fun watching your stuff. I had a few weddings last year that I thought you would have had fun working and editing. I am editing one now and just finished the other.


Shouldn't TV's Discovery Channel be on a different station every day?

There are days I have to force myself into work and get edits done....like the last few days. Once I am going it start flowing and I get in a groove but sometimes it takes awhile to get my "groove on". The last few winters have been tougher than others. Guess I have cabin fever here in the Frozen Tundra and am just tired of cold and snow. 2 tough winters in a row is taking it's toll on lots of people around here. Most of the time it is still fun and when I show up at a shoot and get back in the groove I'm in my element and having fun.


Shouldn't TV's Discovery Channel be on a different station every day?

Its been a cold year here, with windchill, it has been -40c which is very very cold..its -10f right now.
I hardly edit anymore, cept corporate. I have a girl doing my wedding backlog. She edits it and I go in and make it better, but this one I did the whole clip because it was fun and I knew what I wanted it to be like.

It took me years to understand that part of my creative process involved f'n the dog. I would have a hard time getting started somedays, but I would stew the images and songs around and then boom, it would all flow out. I know see that is all part of the process and even if it looks like I am not working, I am being productive and feeding the artist in me,

enjoy life first and the rest will follow.
