dvd back on timeline Can't Post

due to a drive failure I no longer have the raw footage (besides the tapes). I need to get my sample DVD back into Vegas to kill a few chapters and change some text. Is there a way and will there be any loss of quality when I reburn to dvd? Thanks

File - Import - DVD Camcorder Disc.

That will let you get it back in.

You may find a slight audio gap between the chapter points. If you do, there's a way around that.

Sounds like you have an issue reading the disc. Can you copy the contents of the disc into a folder on the hard drive and then import from that folder instead?

yes thanks that worked and got the VOB file on line. Another DVD was able to inport as a DVD cm Disk. thanks the answers so far. Oddly would the project would not render without a restart of the program, but did get a render out of it in the end and went to "make DVD" in in Architech (sony) and it crashes the program and offers to go online to look for an answer, but does not come back with one. this is a new computer, the old is so clogged I need to work on the new. any further suggestions? thanks a lot so far!
